Removing column and Front Clip

How do you pull the column out of a 69? And how many bolts does it take to remove the front outer clip? Do you have to take off the grill and the radiator support?

First you will want to remove the hood.

Then remove the grill.

To take the front fenders off, you have to remove the screws holding the cowl on first. Then you can remove the bolts that hold the fenders to the core support. Once those are out, there is a bolt on the lower inside of the fender. Then open the door all the way and take out the top bolt.

If you have inner fenders you will want to take the bolts out of them prior to trying to remove the fenders.

Depending on what you're going to do with it, you could also take it all off at once. Remove the front bumper. Then pull the 2 bolts that go through the radiator supports. Theres 2 more bolts into the cab through the inner fenders. And one bolt in the upper corners you have to reach through the door seam. Then unplug the wiring from the firewall and I beleive you and a friend can lift the whole thing off at once. My clip was totalled so I just rolled it off onto one fender and pushed it out the door.
