FS: 68 GMC core support
I could ship this via FEDEX for $120 to your door. It is bulky and will weigh about 50# packaged. I wire brushed and primed the front, top and bottom with some military surplus primer (glossy finish). A little light surface pitting on bottom but no rust through; structurally solid and straight. The back side has some intentionally-done man-made flaws. 1" notches on each side just under upper radiator mounts. 2 tack weld holes where battery tray was welded (needs to be ground down). The bottom right inside lip was bent out . It could be bent back in or left as is. One of the lower radiator mount is loose, but you might want to replace them both with 4 core mounts anyway. I beleive the flaws, even if left alone, won't be visible when installed.

Nice piece.
I heard this past weekend, you can use a GMC core support on a Chevy by removeing the headlamp bucket spot welded to the GMC support, is this correct? |
