Please help with Connecting Disc Brake Fluid Lines

In my conversion to disc on my 70 GMC...Im using the brake lines and prop valve off a 76 P/U. Im curious where most of you that have done this have mounted your prop valve....on the brace in front of the X member like the 76?....or did you retube your lines and mount it near the Master Cylinder?

I know the brake line *elect* will have to be extended to the front...that's no problem. Just want to go the most efficient route.

Also...which master cylinder did you use??? I dont have vacumn boost...so it's just bolted to the firewall. The 76 I bought parts off had it the same way.
I guess Im asking if the 76 master cylinder (new) will work.

I GREATLY appreciate any and all comments....answers...thoughts...

Brake lines

You can buy adaptor fittings at most parts houses. Female inverted flare to male inverted flare. A better way is to go to a junk yard & get the fittings off of a GM vehicle that have a hole in the fitting the size line you want to run & the size thread on the fitting for what you want to screw it into.
Later GM brake lines had different size fittings on each end so the guys on the assembly line could only put them on one way. (The right way) You will then need to cut the flare off of your brake line install new fitting & then re-double flare. Or just make an all new line.
