Weird thing happened this morning?

I fired up the K-10 and was letting it warm up as I was giving it gas I heard a beep/beep/beep like a little horn or car alarm.Gave it gas again, kept hearing the noise did it like 10 times and noticed every time I went above about 1500 RPM's the camry parked beside me would make this noise .No one inside and every time I gave it some gas the car would make that beeping noise then stop.Guess my truck scared it .Thought it was kind of odd,any ideas why that happens?

nobody on my street has car alarms because my neighbor has a really good sound system and bumps through here as he pleases. in a couple of years i'll do the same with my 383 and kicking stereo!

Sweet, yeah rev it up a little bit more and see if you can't get some alarms going off. I try to do it in my '79 with straight pipes no mufflers but does not work.

Yeah, mine turn out the side behind the wheels and point at the car.No mufflers!I drove a previous truck that had the pipe break off near the manifold,it affected my hearing for a while .I was way to rough on that truck, tore the upper control arm off the frame

I've had Apache gunships set off my alarm. ALso if there is a lightning strike within half a mile the thunder will set it off.

Never new noise could set off a car alarm. Not very many alarms around here in Kentucky where I live. Never heard one go off except for maby a panic button now and then. But when we were in California close to LA. visiting our daughter, evertime we went to malls or just about any place you always here people getting out of their cars or trucks and hearing the alarms being set. My daughter told me you really need a good alarm because a lot of cars and trucks are stolen there. My truck has a nice mellow tone. Do not think it would set off any alarms. Interesting.
