going away... its one less project i have to finish now. and yes, i almost cried when it left. on the other hand, when i originally picked it up, it was a solid, clean (for this area) low milage one owner truck, and the last place i ever went with my grandfather was to pick this truck up.

needed a motor, plumbed, and a set of wheels and tires, plus a bunch of little odds and ends here and there. the front sheetmetal is all there, just stashed on the trailer and in the bed of the truck. brand new 6" Tuff Country EZ Ride front springs, an Echobit shackle flip out back, 3/4 ton axles, SM465/NP205 and driveshafts went with the truck. ended up selling for $750, because i wanted it gone, and had a friend who was looking for a trail rig/project truck. at this point, with buying and selling of parts and parts trucks, i've broke even. i still have a hydro clutch 465/205 setup, and a low milage 305 sitting in my garage, so i'm actually going to come out ahead by at least $500.

That should give you more space and more cash too. Now you can focus on your other projects. Don't regret it too much. It was probably a wise decision....

trying to get the '91 back together for a friend of mine before this weekend. he's been looking for a truck for about a year now, and my '91 is perfect for what he wants. selling it to him for just enough to "break even" on the '93. then the '96 Grand Am will get its turn under the knife, and get turned for a rather large profit. which leaves me plenty of time and space to get the K20 ready for next plow season, and to build a derby car or two for this summer. as for my next large scale project, i'm unsure of what that will be yet.
