i am in the process of wanting to install a 700r4 in my '72 chevy 2wd p/u. i have heard that bowtie overdrives is descent. i would like to hear from some guys that might have already purchased from them & there experience with them? i would also like to know if they have a good warranty?. the engine that i have is a 410hp sbc. i wonder how they compare to more well known companies like phoenix trans. or gear star?? ![]() ![]() ![]() thank you!! ... rodstored-72 ![]() |

I havn't heard anything bad about bowtie. They are pretty well known, and not cheap. My friend has a bowtie in his BB camaro, with a stock 396.
