1972 Front Grill Swap

I want a GMC front Grill on my 1972 blazer, I think the GMC grills are Bad Ass!
My question is will a GMC front grill bolt right up to my blazer?

The fenders are different on the GMC's from what I recall. The difference is in the front where the grill attaches. I've known several people who swapped from the GMC front end to a Chevy but never the other way around.

Fenders, radiator support, front wiring harness (4 lights instead of 2...) are different

Hood will work...

Good luck, Rg

Bumpers are different too. The GMC ones have cutout areas on the top on either side for a better view of the parking lights.

Thank's for the response, I'm in Hawaii. I just prefer the look of the GMC front Grill (metal and chrome) over my plastic chevy grill.

Will a 69-70 blazer grill bolt up to my 72?

Thank you for the info, Finding used parts in Hawaii is quite the challenge. So far all the junkyards have come up empty. Does anyone have a preference as to which aftermarket company to order repro or replacement parts from?

Try some of the board supporting vendors.

www.gmcpauls.com
www.classicheartbeat.com
www.mothertruckers.com

are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Thank you for the links, I especially like the ClassicHeartbeat.com site.
Looks like I will be purchasing their fenders in the future, I like the sound of thicker than original steel.

Thank's for the welcome, Great to find a site with fellow enthusiast's.
I'm looking forward to the day that I can say my Blazer is finished.
I really want to put A/C in, 6 inch Lift and some rims and tires; Not to mention a perfect body and paint job.
