Nice looking, original '71 CST

I just took a quick look at a nice looking, very original '71 CST Blazer for sale in Redmond, WA. It had a dealer "sale" sign in the windows, but it was parked in a lot near two used car dealerships, so I'm not sure which one it belonged to. They were asking $12,900. The sign said it had 45,000 original miles. It had AC, hub caps, interior side panels an interior spare tire. It appeared to have been repainted. The rear quarter panels weren't the smoothest paint and there was a small amount of rust in the bottom of the doors.

If anyone is interested, I can tell you where it is located.

Sounds like it is worth about half that. Maybe.

Didn't see if it had a jack sticker, but they would probably want around $12K to buy it and it would include a medium green Blazer attached to it. It also had dark tint on the windows so it was hard to see in.

There is no way I would pay $12,900 for the truck. But it was nice and original. The only real downside I saw was the paint looked fairly cheap. Ya might be able to wet sand it to get it smoother, but with the small amount of rust in the door, it probably would be better to repaint. I'd guess it might be worth in the $7-10K range. The only aftermarket things I could see was a trailer brake setup, tinted windows and some speakers mounted in the rear side panels.
