Drop Spindels
Do I need drop spindels on my truck if I am going to lower it. I plan to put on air bags to drop really low and be able to bring it back up when I need to.

Depends on how low you want to go. You don't need them to install air bags but they'll get you 2.5" closer to the ground.

drop spindles give you 2.5" of lowering more than coil spring or airbag lowering. Theoretical: Say you lowered the front of your truck 5" with coil springs or airbags. Then if you install the drop spindles you will have lowered your front end a total of 7.5".

spindles with bags is better
Simple theory... By using drop spindles with air bags, its not just a matter of "how low you can go" but also the volume of air you have in your bags at driving height. To achieve the same height without drop spindles is to have much less bag-air volume. Lets say you have 2 1/2 drop spindles with your bage, then you 2 1/2" of extra air (and suspension movement) in you bags at the same actual ride height.
