How do you remove the cowl?

I have a bad radio and one piece I need to replace is the antenna. How can I remove the cowl to get at the antenna cable that runs thru it to the back of the radio? When I look at it...it looks like its part of the cab frame. ANy pics or ideas would be welcomed.

Thanks. Truck69

Remove your windshield wipers (pry the tab away and lift up). There is a row of screws next to the windshield and a row of screws under the back edge of the hood. Then there are two body bolts on either side on at the back corner of the hood and one at the top front corner of the door. Good luck! The hardest part is getting the dang windshield wipers off.

My antenna was missing when I got my truck, but when I put one in it I did not have to remove the cowl. There was a hole in the cab below the antenna for the cable to go thru and if you take the glovebox out you will see what I mean and it is a lot easier than removing the cowl. I'm not sure this is the same for all trucks ,but I'd thought I'd put my .02 in on this. Randy

2nd that about glove box. Anything to do with working on the radio, remove glove box. ( real simple, good time to replace box if need be)
