Engine Block Casting Number
I'm trying to ID my engine so I can get the correct heads and intake for it. On the block the numbers are really hard to see but this is what I have deciphered.
105002?YR 60270245 The question mark is for something which looks like a "T" or "7". Currently I have 454 heads on my 396 and I would like to make it all 396 in hoping it will give the engine a little more snap. Please let me know if any of you can help me. By the way, I decided to go with a 700R4 "God Father" transmission from Mad Dog Transmissions for those of you who remember my last post.
