67 SWB Stepside Bed W/No cutout for sale in DFW area
If anyone needs a decent 67 SWB Stepside bed I have one for sale for $500.00 in the DFW area. Wood floor is gone but has all crossmembers and strips if you want to restore them. After market is probably the way to go though. The driver's fender does not have the cutout for the tire. Fairly rare one year item.

Any steel short wide boxes or floors for sale? You've been gone awhile haven't you?

I have been busy and just started looking for trucks again. I will keep an eye out for SWB fleetside beds and floors.

You have any pics of bed? I'm thinking of assembling a 68 short bed I have as a stepside. It would just be a driver so I was going to use a pair of '67 front fenders I already have. Is this bed repairable to driver quality?

This is a very solid and complete bed w/no tailgate. There are a few minor dings on the fenders but this would be a very nice bed with very little work. If you are going to use the original metal strips that go between the wood slats you can use these but one of them is bent and you will have to straighten or replace it. Please PM me your email address and I will get you some pictures.

I really do not have time to ship this bed. I can drop it off at a shipper but that is about all I have time for shipping wise.

So you can ship?It would just cost more for crating?Or,are you saying I need to locate a shipper and make all arrangements?Maybe we could get someone in DFW to help with removing fenders.I think this should be done to protect fenders and reduce size.

I will take the fenders off and put the bed on a large pallet and take it to a local shipper for an additional $50.00. It will have to be trucked to you. I think this bed only weighs around 250-300 lbs so it may not be too expensive to ship. The shipping zip code is 75222 if you want to check on prices. I find that ABF freight is the most reasonable but you can check around.

I must have done something wrong.I got a quote from ABF online of $823.That was just based on 300#.The first quote,I gave dimensions of 6x5x3 and the cost was $1,800.These were with you dropping off and me picking uo at the terminal.Could you give it a shot for me?
