Push Rod Cover Gaskets

Do I have to take the distributor out to change the front one on a 250?

I didn't have to. I just removed the three bolts and slid it out towards the rear. I did remove the coil, though.

It is a sediment bowl fuel filter. All the trash drops to the bottom and you just dump it out once it gets trashy!!!
Just a small side note...I pulled this engine out to make room for my small block...and I just GAVE it to Krue this past Saturday!!!
