Hard Tonneau Lift Ideas
Any of you guys have innovative ideas for bed cover lifts ? I don't wanna spend a ton on actuators and I already have gas struts. I'd like to be able to do a remote lift and close so I don't need latches or anything showing on my shaved '67. With the door handles, tail lites and gate handle gone the cover latch is a sore thumb. I'm bagged so air is available but I can't find any air struts. I saw a rig using an air shock that was clean and simple but it didn't close very well. Ideas ?

I will be using Autoloc electric actuators that will be operated off the key fob.

Click on Yahoo (or you favorite search engine) and search for "air actuators". I found a ton of them...with strokes up to 99"...yes 99".
