P.A.W. Engine Parts

Has anyone delt with PAW to buy their engine parts?

Is their catalog worth it (I'm from Canada, it would cost $14.95)?

All comments are welcome...

I bought my h-beam connecting rods from PAW. The service was good as well as delivery. I have a couple of buddies who have purchased parts from them as well......no problems.

While I have never dealt with PAW, I can say that Jasper makes some d@mn good engines. We get all our rebuilt gasolin engines from them at the shop i work at. (Jasper is about 3 miles from my shop)
Everything from stock to what the h*ll was that?

PAW kicks a$$...
their catalog is thick as a phonebook and is full of helpful info...
their house brand parts are high quality, in particular their stainless steel valves, (Manley),
i like their cams as well...

i have used PAW parts and have been satisfied. i have found a place called northernautoparts that has the best bang for the buck. i used their engine kit on my last project and they are my choice. chevy 350 complete rebuild kit with hyperutectic pistons and your choice of crane cams for $300. check them out on the net. they have free catalogs. www.northernautoparts.com

Here in So Calif. it is more then just a mail order they do have a store in North Hollywood Calif. even at that when I have called the majority of the parts are at the warehouse the main mail order supply house about 20 miles in the north valley of the San Fernando Valley. I did over hear them saying that some of there item are sold at times below cost to compete on certain items the Jegs and Summit sell. Worth cheching prices for comparison. Ed ke6bnl

PAW

I have purchased a lot of stuff in the past from them, they have stuff like chrome bolts, You never see just chromed bolts at SUMMIT or JEGS.
I almost forgot about them, I haven't ordered anything in about 7 or 8 years from them. I'll have to look their number up and order another catalog.

You find them when you can just walk into the store.
I live less than 5 miles from the west side Jegs in Columbus.

Well ANDY,

I don't live in COLUMBUS, I have a bundle of relatives that do but I've never met them either. never been there. Heck, I guess there is even a road there named after ME. hehehe One of my relatives used to own all of the ASH CAVE property. and I guess if you really want to find any WOODGEARD's there you just call the "JAIL'' I do know there is some lost relative that's a HIGHWAY PATROL in that area. But the rest are supposed to be kind of a roudy bunch, (I guess that's where I got it from) hehehe
They live in and around COLUMBUS..some are hill people.

SAY HI FOR ME IF YOU EVER RUN ACROSS ANY.
