Project pics

I know how everybody loves pictures, so I thought I'd post a few from my truck's maiden voyage.

That truck looks like it is in the same shape as our '67 was in, except your bed floor looks great

So the maiden voyage went well I hope. Looks like a pretty solid truck.

That's a hoss of a bumper you've got on the back.

The bed wood's not too bad except for a small rotted portion in the left rear corner. The truck has been kept in the barn all its life, except for it's voyaging through the fields picking up potatoes. One hoss of a bumper out back, it's rusted pretty bad and I'm debating what to do, to replace with the standard stepside bumper or look for a replacement. The mirrors are off right now, the very large West Coast Junior mirrors that kinda make it look like a kid with big ears. My wife loves them, and that's how she remembers Pappy's truck, but I could do without them. The truck itself is in pretty good shape, maiden voyage went well until it ran out of juice. It's not charging, I replaced the voltage regulator, still no luck. It's probably the alternator. It figures I get it running the day before I go on vacation in North Carolina for a week. I'll have plenty of truck stories to share this summer for sure.

I thought about adding an arrestor wire so the navy could practice landing their F18s on the back bumper.
