Auto Trans XM ?
Well, I've put the rebuilt motor and 350 turbo trans back into the beast. I have the back of the trans supported by a floor jack until I install the trans XM. My question is what is the easiest way to install this XM, before I get started? I know this may seem like a dumb question, but if there is a easy way, better than trying differant combos and getting po'ed...........
thanks.........steve

I converted from a 6 banger 3 speed to a v8 with car type 4 speed and had to use the auto type rear xmember. I installed the xmember into the frame at aprrox location with 2 bolts just to hold it before I installed engine and trans. Went real slick. Theres not a lot of room to manuever the xmember with the trans in there, but it can be done. Top bolts can be a PITA if your cab mounts have sagged leaving less room.
