Rhd?
this morning i was driving to work on I-20 (for DFW folks), when this white
truck looked like a '68 or '69 comes flying by me. i looked as he passed me and to my surprise i see no one sitting in the driver side. i said, WTF... so i try to catch up to him but he's driving at a high rate of speed. i can only see one person sitting on the passenger side of the truck and concluded that he must be driving. i thought that was so cool, a RHD truck. my ?'s are did they ever make a RHD truck or was this a custom job. How hard is this to do and is this person on here. thanks, thomas... EDIT: damn it... i put this in the wrong section. can someone move it please. Last edited by 6camaro9; 07-01-2005 at 08:49 AM. |

Rhd
Lots of pages in the Factory Assembly Manual about RHD - most of which is in rear or 71/72 section. My brother is a vintage British race car fanatic(nut) who would like his 68 Chev car hauler to be RHD. I wonder if Austrailia has junk yards to obtain the correct RHD parts. Do we have any members in AUS or NZ?
Body wise the only difference I have found is the right hand windshield wiper is moved outboard and parks toward the center above the left one. This requires a different transmission arm and cowl cover - the mounting location is already a part of the cab. Does anybody have connections??
