engine help needed
Well I put a new camshaft in 2 weekends ago and ran into a few problems firstly my rocker arms were hitting on the new valve covers so i got that sorted out then my buddy put my crank shaft gear out one tooth so thats sorted out, but now i have an engine miss, and in 4th gear on the highway it cuts out if i really put my foot into it. also my tach wire from the MSD flopped onto the headers and wrekced my MSD box. so the truck is now running on stock ignition but has the engine miss so if anyone could help me out thatd be great.
Thanks Jason

could be a carbuearator issue if you got something so built where you had to put high rise valve covers in it. What type of carbuerator set up and how high of RPM were you running when it started sputtering with the stock ignition?

What size motor? What are the cam specs? Rockers may be overtight letting compression bypass.

turns out the valves on number 1 were too tight, I didnt have to put the high rise valve covers also I should have mentioned that, it runs good now but i think i need to replace the valve seal in #1 it never ends ......
