Correct Fan Blade Size?

There seems to be no consistant answer to the 19" or 18" 7-blade fan. The next time you are under your hood I would appreciate you grabbing a tape measure and measuring the fan blade. Also pleae measure the opening of your fan shroud. Mine is a 19.5" diameter. Thanks in advance. Tim

stocker and skokie: Thank you. Is the fan bolted to a fan clutch? The fan shroud I just bought has an opening of 19.5".

Yes it is. I have owned the truck for 28 years and I'm 99% sure everything is OEM. And it is an A/C truck, though the R12 is long gone.

On a side note, the clutch unit is 2-piece, like a sandwich. The front and rear halves are bolted together, and the vanes (inside) run in a temperature-sensitive silicon fluid, which I have only found at Toyota dealers. Also, the clutch unit has the bi-metal spring at front & center.
