Auxilliary Gas Tank on a Longhorn

Does anyone have a Longhorn with a factory installed auxilliary gas tank? I'm curious as to where the filler neck comes out of the boxside and if the tank is larger to take advantage of the extra space in front of the wheel well.

Bob

Mine had it and has since been removed. I do still have the tank, filler neck, and sheet metal guarding that was mounted inside the bed.

I can take some measurements for you over the weekend.

The ones I have seen are not any larger(around 16-18 gallons). They used the same auxillary tank in the 8' as in the 8 1/2' box. The filler neck on a truck I spotted in a local salvage yard was behind the seam and not further forward on the box. It was possible to get the factory tank as dealer installed so it could end up anywere too.
