Headlight buzzers are ready....

Added: I should have stated...These headlight reminders will buzz when you turn off the ignition and the lights are still on. You used to be able to buy these at Kmart and other places, but since most cars come from the factory with this feature the 3M company stopped making them.

I have a few headlight reminders ready to go...I can get more. If anyone needs one or more send a M.O. or paypal for $10 total for each buzzer, include your address and let me know if you have round glass fuses or later style blade type fuses (can do either). Package will include simple instructions, just hook up 2 wires to your fuse block using the included clips.

Greg Bratton
2856 Springvalley Rd.
Rock Hill, SC 29730

or paypal to gbratton@peoplepc.com

Thanks, Greg

I will be needing two. One for my '70 glass and one for my '86 blade type. Will be sending money order. I am always forgetting to turn lights off when it is raining. This will really help. Thanks

This bizzer has clips for the glass fuses. It's about 3/4" x 3/4" x 1" and will have simple instructions. Greg

When the ignition power is off, the circuit backfeeds a ground to the fuse and allows the buzzer to "buzz" while the lights are on suppling the 12V to the other side of the buzzer. When the ignition power is on, the buzzer sees 12V on both wires with the lights on. When the lights are off with the ignition on, you have the 12V & GND going to the buzzer in reverse polarity, but since the buzzer is DC rated it will not buzz (has an internal diode). Hope this helps, Greg

phlegm- I have a piece of double sided tape on the buzzer. Hook up the wires, then just peel off the cover tape and stick it to the side of your fuse block.

bad4x4- $10 total per buzzer, shipping included within the US. My paypal ID & mailing address are listed at the start of this thread....paypal or M.O. Let me know weither you need them for glass or blade fuses, can do either/both.

Greg

Installed on a 69-72 fuse block....sorry for the confusion, I didn't realize there were 2 styles in our trucks. Red wire connects to the Panel light fuse & black wire to the Ignition fuse.

Look for the krinkled looking Red & Black wires........Greg
