Shackle drop instructions?

Hey, my 72 SWB has the front end, and leaves out of an 80 silverado 1/2 ton.

Im buying 2" Summit drop springs for the front(Gonna have a shop install them for me)

And 2" Summit drop shackles for the rear.(I want to do it myself)

Does anyone know a write up of how to do this in my own garage? Thank you!

It's really easy. Jack the truck up put axel stands under the frame. Then remove the bolts swap shackles and replace. You may want to torch the bolts and buy new ones it might be easier.

But why not take it to a spring shop and get them to dearch them ? It most likley cheeper or very close to the same price and you would get new U bolts along withthe exact drop you want. . I dont think you will get a full 2" drop out of a shackle with what I have heard.
I have one in my 67 but never checked how low it got me versus stock.
