Rear leaf springs different short or long bed?
Are the rear leafs different between the short and long bed trucks? I have an 83 that the PO heated the springs to lower it so I need to replace them.

No, they are the same. There are different versions though. HD = 7 leaf (56" eye to eye) and STD = 5 leaf (52" eye to eye).

Excellent. Thank you. I have found a long bed truck in a wrecking yard with springs on it but they said they would not fit the short bed because of the length. I will measure from eye to eye on mine then on the parts truck.
