72 C10 advice wanted

Hi guys, I have finally cured my motor woes and the truck now rolls very nicely, I now find that I will be needing to up-grade my suspension as it gets a little skecthy especially over holes and raised ironwork

It has been dropped 3" front and 5" rear, I beleive the front to be on axle and spring mods, the rear is just spring.

The truck seems to deflect or skitter over the road after a hit, the dampers seem OK and not to springy ?

My question is how can I improve my ride quality without having to get a BIG overdraft, can springs and dampers solve it or shoud I get more up to date equipment under it like air ? Truck is my sunday ride only.

I Dont Know about everyone else, but the reason i am going to air is to lay out and not for ride quality. but the ride quality is better then the stock suspension was on my truck.

i think first thing you should do is shocks? they arent that expensive and that would narrow down what is causing your loopyness! IMO
