painting

any one got any ways I could paint a bezel? I was thinking like a silver or crome something like that. I was looking at modle paint. do you think it would work? should I put a primer then paint? thanks.

what about checking out Fusion paint at the hardware store they say it works really well to plastic parts

I did but they dont come in crome or silver colors. but I might use there black.

guess I didnt realize they didnt have chrome or silver seems like if you rough it up some then use chrome paint it would work pretty well but maybe someone else has a better idea

use some adhesive promoter if you paint it, that should help a bit.

Instead of painting, you can get silver ones on e-Bay pretty cheap. (most of the time) Just have to keep checking and they come up just about every week. That is where I got mine. Just like new. $18.00 plus ride. It even came with one new vent. Just make sure you get the right one. Later models has the wiper on colum and I believe before '81 the wiper was on the bezel. If this is for the '79 it will be on the bezel.

someone posted on here awhile back that they used "flat aluminum paint" and it was a perfect match for the rallies and the bezels.....but i cant remember what brand
