Here are some hood hingles I saw back in 03 at Good Guys Dallas. This may give some ideas for the hood. I plan on doing something like this inthe next few months once I get to the hood on mine.

ya thats a kick ass idea!!! I wish I had xray vision. I saw those pics a couple days ago but couldnt decide if that was a 60-66, but I guess it is. Do you know how its done?

the truck was a 64 - 66. here are some more pics ofthe truck. I didi ask the guy and he said the hinges were custom made.

I iwhs I knew how to get in contact wih that guy cuz that would solve mine and bagged68's problems, and everyone trying to lay a 60-66 on big wheels

THis is something like what I plan on doing. Weld a little tab to the back of the rotating part of the hinge and cut alot of the other stuff off and out of the way and then drill new bolt holes for the ones that I will loose. Make any sense?

Hey Fast Bagged,

Will your hood clear your fenders? If so I think that is exactly what I am going to do. I had a very similar idea in minde I just didnt think I would be able to close the hood.

Ya my hood fits down over the wheel wells. I had to cut a little out of the flange on the hood. When the hood is on it looks sweet! I will get more pics up when I get back from Vegas.
