Now - added it to my ALLSTATE policy, $15K of coverage for $18 a year, but
before you go saying that's BS, here is the real deal on that rate, $15K and it is full replacement / write me a check, but It is garaged, and I can't drive it I mean I can't drive it at all, not even down the road & back, but it's only $18 Later - Probably will go w/ HAGERTY, quoted me around $196 a year for $25K, which is what I will have in it after paint and the rest of the BS I need 2 finish

I'm assuming the reson is because you don't have a locked garage...not cause your living in an apartment. because my home address is as an apartment but the vehicle is located in a locked garage that i rent a spot in, about 30minutes away..and they had no problems with that.

I have classic insurance with state farm. The K10 has 20K on it and the C10 has 14K on it. I pay just over $100 per 6 mos on the K10 and $80ish on the C10 per 6 mos. That is a stated value. Hagerty wouldn't cover me due to the fact that I do not have an insured vehicle per driver in the house. My wife has a jeep but I only have the trucks. They told me if I had insurance on another vehicle they would cover me with an agreed value no problem.

Interesting.... I've got State Farm and they wouldn't cover it as a classic being restored because it wasn't old enough (71 K10)..... the only break I could get if it was a "show" truck, which mine isn't so, basically I have storage coverage, can't drive it, for around 120 a year. If I want to drive it I have to pay for a full month of normal coverage, which is around 40. per month..... anyone else have any experience with State Farm?

I also have American Collectors. I've been vary happy with them. Had a claim on my 62 Impala a few years ago due to a little "garage mishap". No questions, no issues, all fixed. There is a mileage limit and other restrictions but for the low price I can live with it.

Again, American Collectors has always worked for me. I too had my 62 Impala insured with them. The reason mine is cheap, I think, is my replacement value of $5000.00. I plan on raising that value later on as I improve on the truck.......
