I have this LSD that was given to me by a buddy.....he said he thought it was for a chevy rear, but didn't know which. Could be for a Ford 9"?
Can anyone help with a firm ID of this?

LSD i think i remember that from the 70s

count the splines, if it is 30 it could be either a car or truck 12 bolt Gov-Lock factory posi. If it has 28 splines it is probably a 10 bolt gov-lock. Either way, those are weak carriers so don't plan on abusing it or it will break.

that's not a carrier, it's a grenade!!!! carefully carry it outside, place it on the ground about 100 yards away from any living being or structure, and RUN!!!!!!

Most of them won't even survive that.

not really. MJ has always held that staus. LSD was good press for the Haight-Ashbury days. What does that have to do with our trucks? Heck it was during the same era. Think of all the Fremont CA built trucks. They be happy!

alot of our trucks could have been at woodstock 67-69 anyways. they could have all been decked out in hippie peace ****. till they got tired of it and painted it or it came off over the years
