Alternator Question

As some of you know I am putting a 350 where the 250 once was. I am so close to actually trying to start its killing me. My Question is, I using a different alternator and the plug on the new alternator is different. Does the Blue wire got on the left or right. The alternator is out of a 81 Silverado 350.

You cant just hook a internal regulated Alt up in place of an external regulated Alt.
Do a search on a rewire.
