Lowering question
I was thinking of lowering my 86 sb by adding a flip kit to the rear and 2.5" drop springs in the front. How hard of a job is this? I want to be able to do it myself. what is involved in a flip kit? It just puts the springs on the bottom of the rear end instead of the top correct? And to do the springs do you just remove your old ones and put in the new ones or do you have to replace other parts also? Is this the best way? I'm really looking for a 2/4 drop. I think this will give me about what I want. Sorry but I'm new to lowering.

If you are mechanically inclined, then it should be not problem doing this yourself. Carefull with the front springs as they will be under pressure when you remove the spindle. I use a jack under the control arm to keep the spring from launching.

I am a bit of a caution freak so I always wrap a chain around the spring just in case also. Not to bad of a job just take your time and good luck
