Gear Fluid question...
Had the truck in for service.....he checked fluid in trans (4-spd) and it was low....he added gear fluid as necessary.....he then checked tranfer case and it was high....he removed filler cap and fluid came out....question....is it possible for the fluid to get from trans to tranfer case if the seal inbetween is bad perhaps......Just curious....Thanks....Paul

yep, but it could have also been filled with the truck at an angle(front to back) and gotten a little more. The tranny fill is on the side.

Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm |
