finally done with my 6lug disk conversion

well after about 2 weeks getting all the parts, I am finally done with my disk conversion on my 67 gmc shortbed pickup. also replaced most of the suspension and steering controls except the springs, I will get them and shocks shortly. thanks to gmc pauls for the kit, works like a dream.

also did the reat wheel seals and a whole rear drum rebuild along with replaceing the rear hand brake cables, thanks to brothers for them. was pretty exausting but well worth it.

now next on the list is a chrome rear bumper and shaving the old vinal bed cover and installing a new flush fiberglass one.

thanks everyone for the little help and hints.

take care!

hi...did you have to do any grinding to the spindle at the upper ball joint? What company did you get yours from?

thanks,
Jay

Couple of questions if you don't mind....

Did the kit include everything needed, or where there trips to the parts store for needed widgets?

Any problems with parts fitment?

The reason I ask is that I'm about to do a 6 lug disc conversion, so I'd be interested in hearing all your details.
