horn quit working
My horn quite working to day, when you push the button there is still a clicking noise under the dash but I can't exactly figure out where is it comming from ....it seems to be modified from the original....my question is where are the horn wires supposed to run (ie where in the fuse box or to what switch)??
Thanks Rhino ------------------

Rhino,
The "clicking" you are hearing under the dash, is the "horn relay" being activated. This tells us that all is well in the steering wheel down to the relay (or the relay wouldn't be clicking). The problem is between the relay and horn itself. Check to make sure the horn is plugged in ok. Next have someone hold a test light or volt meter on the wire at the horn and check to see if it's getting voltage when the button is pushed. If it's not getting voltage start tracing the wire up to the relay. If it is getting voltage at the horn plug, your horn itself is bad and needs changed. Good luck!
