Best auto security I've found is to leave my 125lb. Rott. in the truck when I go into the store . I come out & garaunteed there's no one within 15' of my truck.

Man. This is my 4th 69 SWB. All three of my others were stolen. I recovered the first two. The last one...I never saw again. However, I had it for sale for $5500 and the insurance company gave $9200...that works!!!

I use an Autolock . Harder to cut through the brake pedal than the steering wheel. I also have a fuse on the battery wire to the ignition, under the hood. It's a blown fuse when it's parked. If the @#$% gets through the Autolock, he'll waste a lot of time farting around looking for a kill switch that's not there before giving up or going under the hood- which you can rig up to lock if you like.
I also like the idea of an assortment of razor blades on the ignition wiring. For those crooks who like to reach under and grab without looking

Go-jacks work wonders too, for those of you who think you can dump your truck with the bags, and park it within inches of something thinking a thief cant move a big assed whatever you have blocking it in.
slide it in, pump a couple of times, repeat, push truck wherever you want it.

Just my 2 cents worth, but ugly trucks don't get stolen. I like the Grant system and plan to install one in the very near future (after I install my tilt column, when the weather cools down some). Good luck and keep on truckin'...............Jerry
