Suburban Lift

Does anybody know if 3/4 4x4 Suburbans came with lift blocks in the rear from the factory or has mine been added by someone.

I have a 71 3/4 t that only has about 1/2" block in there.
How flat are your rear springs?
Do your front springs have a negative arch?

my '68 had the negative arch front springs and no block in back, i went w/skyjacker softride 6" front springs and blocks in back. great ride, now i gotta decide what to do in back, thinking of flipping the shackles and using an addaleaf

My burb was converted to a rescue vehicle. When someone rolled thier ford the fire dept. would pick them up and rush them to the helipad in it. The fire dept records showed they asked for maximum ground clearence, 1n 69 when they bough it, as well as dual batteries and custom wireing etc... but point is it had 4" lift blocks front and rear not "home made" but a hollow cast block pined and cupped and angled for springs. I assume they were dealer installed or done by whoever did the rescue lights and wiring.

the only block from the factory was a 1" block in the rear(had one on my 70 K25). In 71 the front spring hanger for the rear springs was lowered about 2", netting about 1" of lift and the block was no more.
Blocks up front is a big no-no.

1986 K30, 350/400/205 dana 60 and 14 bolt. I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone.
1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed.

1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

I think I see whats up.
The Eaton rear spring perches are alot taller than 14 bolt ones.
