what's it worth... lwb fleet bed

I am going to sell a long fleet bed as I have replaced it with a tool box bed . The question is how much? The bed is ocre and white(paint is about 1.5 yrs old) but never drilled for upper chrome. It is however set up for lower chrome. The bed does not have saddle tank doors and never did. It also has a spray in liner. I need to sell it to fix a cab, or will trade it for a "rust free" or as close to as possible high hump a/c cab of same value. This bed is extremely nice and needs a new home. I can get pics this weekend, but am too stupid to post them so I'll need some help there. Thanks guys for any comments or questions in advance. O yeah bed is in portland area.

For a very nice straight and truely rust free box and floor I'd pay a grand Canadian $ right now. With a tailgate in the same condition a grand US $. Too bad you weren't closer.

I guess that I have been selling them too cheap...lol I have been selling near mint long beds with nice floors for $400.00 and rust free beds with beat up floors for $200.00 to $250.00. If the bed has rust I have been scrapping them. I have 3 in stock now that are rust free, nice bottoms, but have some side damage... I sometimes have trouble getting that out of them... If you are looking to do some trading for your bed, I have the panels to fix your cab new in stock. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

$1000 sounds steep to me...just my opinion, though. I sold my SWB Fleetside bed that was in pretty good shape (surface rust and a dent or two on the floor) for $400.

Everything up here rusts bad..thats why the price is higher. Depends on area I guess...seems like you guys on the west coast have quite a few rust free parts there.!
