I balanced it in the center of the cab's weight.
The firewall section adds the offset weight forward, thus you will see the arm is a bit forward. The 4 X 4 I think is fine to do this! Alike the steel ones with the L-90* ends, on wood I suppose we could have cut 2 X 4 and attatched them to the ends so that the cab wouldnt slide on the 4 X 4.
