one piece windows for trade

ok guys,i bought these, installed them, just not sure that i like them, they look cool as heck but,i dont have a/c in my truck, and those vents move alot of air.anyway,if i can find someone with a nice pair of side glass and a nice set of chrome vents with new rubber,i would trade them.i can go out and find some vents, put new rubber in them, and new rivets andhandles, and end up with about 150-200 in them, and the have to get new felts and anti rattles for the side glass, and spend another 40 or so,but if somebody out there has a nice enough set, then i would consider a trade,if this is what they are looking for.let me know...mike

dont get me wrong guys, but i just have to look more at the functionality then the look.i thought they looked sweet as heck too,but my 3 1/2 yr old says it kinda gets warm in there, and not only that i have another baby on the way,im not a big fan of a/c anyway, heck i have never even turned it on in my 04 silverado(which by the way,if anyone wants one,i will give it to them if they take over payments..453 month)they are power, but i am not getting rid of those, just the windows and the tracks, beacuse when you install these, you have to cut your vent window track and your rear window track to make this kit work, and i do still have the instructions so who ever gets these get those as well,if i had to sell them out right, well,i have 325 in them,i would sell for 250 i guess, but lets just see what happens,i cant sell them until i have a set of factory to put in though

Why not just roll them down? I have vent windows & don't use them because rolling the regular glass down has worked fine for years. I understand that if you pull the vents all the way in they direct more airflow but rolling the windows down does pretty good too.

You're the owner, but I gotta go with Randy or at least SCOTI, they look too good to take out now. I would either add ac or roll the windows down and buy the kids a popsicle, they'll be fine. ............Jerry

DUDE, Why? roll the damn windows down and go fast! That looks killer! Why go through the work again to go back to stock when that kicks some major ass!!!

Besides, that will just make more work for you! Leave it alone! Furthermore, you need to get to those dash knobs out of the aluminum for us!

I really think you will be sorry! I personally think that vent wings are a PITA!

Good luck with what ever you decide! Hope all is well with your wife/baby too.

I might be interested in doing a trade with ya.
What all pieces would we be trading? Just the windows or the windows, tracks, weatherstripping, etc?
I have all brand new weatherstripping I'm gonna put on my 72 someday, (still lookin for that "roundtoit" ) and good glass in the truck.

Will they work with the stock regulators?
Does the window tint come off? (Stupid anti tint laws in my state).
One last question, how do they effect the strength of the door where an exterior mirror would mount? (I noticed you don't have any exterior mirrors).

BTW, Could we trade paint too?? Love that orange! My truck is orange but far from pretty.

ok yall, they are smoked,i dont think it is an actually film tint,i do roll the windows down all the time, but it just doesn't move enough air,as of now the only ones in my truck is me and my kids, but this is going to be my daily driver, these will work with factory regulators,i have power in mine, but those are not going with them, you will get...the windows w/ the tracks on them,.....the front track that i had to cut down from a vent window....the rear track that i also had to cut the old rear track down,,,and instructions,,,you also get those little aluminum triangles on the front,...and the 2 sets of felt, that were a b1tch to put in,,and the weatherstriping that goes along with it...............and what i need in rteturn is..a nice set of chrome vents that are tight and have decent habdles w/.rubber for the front of the vent and the glass.........the new weatherstriping inside the door channel...the felt that goes up and down the vent............the felts and anti rattles............and i could use the rear window track...as mine are cut down for these one piece windows........and i also will need the side glass....but i need this with time to put them in before i send you yours...i hope that explains everything,,,i beleive that would be a fair trade

Will these work in a blazer? Will my vent windows work in your truck? Let me know if all the other deals fall thru.
