Got a buddy that's looking for a complete, running 250 6cyl. The cheaper the better. Local would be nice. Let me know what's out there.

i have two. one is in my 68 pu and runs fine and is complete. the other is one i just got done doing a minor overhaul and it is complete, less carb. for the one in the 68 ill take 100 and the other ill take 350.

Well, problem #1 is I don't really want to ship and #2 it's probably more than you want, I won't separate it out.

I started posting about this at Craigslist today. Not much response yet.

Any ideas on how we could get the one in your 68 over here? I think that's about what he's looking to spend.

Not wanting to ship from Atlanta does present a problem. I don't know that he would want to pay for shipping anyway. Sounds like a heck of a deal though.

if you can pick up the cab in nevada for me. i could pull the engine and meet you somewhere around kansas if you wanna do that route. other than that, besides, shipping i dont know.

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THE ENGINE, if you wanna do that, that'll help both of us out. let me know

The gas would cost WAY more than the engine is probably worth but the road trip would be kick-ass!!........He's thinking about it.

Ok, let's see......approx 1800 miles (one way) which is about 3600 miles round trip.....divided by 10 (MPG).......is 360........times $3.00 a gallon......that puts it at just a little over $1,000

As fun as it would be, I don't think it makes much sense!

I sure wish you were closer though.

Frame and body done... getting painted!!!
