Edelbrock MPI fuel injection Installation

Thanks to FROST89434, we are attempting to install the Edelbrock MPI 4 barrel system. We drained out the anti freeze and removed the wiring and HEI dist. Then removed the intake manifold. We just set the new MPI in place and took a few pic's. Measurements from the old carb and new MPI where the air cleaner sits are the same.

Good to see your truck again. Looks like it belongs there. What fuel pump do you need to use for this system? What are you doing with your your Ed carb and intake?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Looks good! Hope you post a full write-up/evaluation on it. Not that I could afford one.

I am giving the edelbrock 1406 to FROST89434 for his help installing the system. And will sell the manifold. The TPI comes with a electric fuel pump and block off plate. The fuel pump will go on my 71 Blazer I just bought.

I don't think so, but is the manifold a EPS? What 71 Blazer?

The fuel savings over the carbureutor are enough to justify that install. Let us know how user friendly that is to install when you all are done.
