Radiator Cover
Thought I'd save myself $45.00 + and try and make one myself out of stainless. I have access to a metal shop. I was thinking on making one out of regular sheet metal and paint it black.....any thoughts?

I accidentally put one little dent on the top. This was just a trial piece to see if it would work or not.....

That looks great on your truck. Blue4x4 was gracious enough to give me a spare he had made and I didn't ask for it. He is a good person.
Surely you could sell the radiator covers if you priced them right. I am interested in a grill to radiator cover in stainless steel. This would hide the part you don't clean and probably help cool the engine. Any ideas?

I've also being thinking about the whole radiator cover also. I'm going to take some measurements and see how much stainless scrap pieces are left at the shop. The mirror stainless isn't cheap. As I said earlier, I'm thinking on making these in plain sheet metal and paint whatever color.....

That looks so clean. Did you just use a brake to shape it?

I'm gonna try and make a template this week, and see if I can make one for the front top of the radiator to the top of the grill. The only thing I have to go buy is my truck, GMC, but I would think it would also fit Chevy. I believe the core supports are the same except for the headlight buckets. I'll keep you all posted...........
