Vent Window Screw on '72 Doors
Okay, I have '72 doors on my 69 SWB Stepside. There is a hole in each one just below the vent window (see pic below). I do not recall there being any hole in the vent windows. Does a screw just go in there to tighten up the door at the vent? If so, anybody know what size (diameter and length) I need? Thanks.

Here's a picture of the screw and the sleeve that go in your door. The screw is slightly under 2 inches long. The diameter of the threads is 3/16 inch, which I believe is a #10 sheetmetal screw. There's a little sheetmetal nut clipped onto the inside of the door. Hopefully yours is still there. Otherwise the screw will not have anything to thread into.

pjmoreland, Thanks. I guess a #10 sheetmetal screw will be easy enough to find. I have no idea where I would get the sleeves, though.
