Yep. I just drilled a couple extra holes, and used grade 8 mounting hardware. Find some thick fender washers to brace up teh floor around your new holes as well. I put 98 extended cab seats in my 77, and I have a 60/40 bench for the 78.

Jonboy, does your extended cab passenger seat slide towards the dash with the lever on the seat back? That is really what I was looking for, but got a good deal on these with the console and my drivers seat is power. Also did you use the frames and tracks from the newer seats? thanks jesse

N2TRUX made new mounts for his so he could use the existing mounting points for the new seat. BTW, the extended cabs made before '99 I believe (those without 4th door) will slide forward. That is what Ken (N2TRUX) used.
It was simular to what I did on mine to put the '90 seats in my '78. Links are basically in order of what I did... I made a template for it now so I can cut them out. http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/Jimmy/seatbracket1.jpg http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/Jimmy/seatbracket2.jpg http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/Jimmy/seatbracket3.jpg http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/Jimmy/seatbracket4.jpg http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/Jimmy/passtemplate.jpg http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/Jimmy/seatbracket5.jpg http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/Jimmy/seatbracket6.jpg http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/Jimmy/jimmybrkt.jpg

The drivers side in mine is power also. I don't remember if the passengers side flips forward or not. I chucked the rear seat in my 77 as it stuck way up above the top of the quarters. I used the newer seat tracks. I got mine cheap too, so I used what was there. I was kind of undecided between the split bench and the buckets, so I have both.

You did good. Heck I was surprised I even remebered all that. Besides you did a much better job of making the brackets...
