Weatherstripping problem
I just bought new weatherstripping for my 72 K/5. It all fits well except for the double wall top to glass pieces and the drip pieces. There is a gap of about 3/4" all the way around the window. I can't take the window up any farther and the top is where it should be or at least I think it is. I have all the bolts in it. And the drip pieces I have don't line up with anything.
When I was looking back at the few pics I could find I saw the drip caps for a 73 and thats what it looked like I should have to fit. Is it possible for the top from a 73 to fit a 72? The other thing that makes me wonder is mine came with a white top from the factory and this one is black. It's black in places only the factory would paint it. I need some expert advice or even some pics would be very helpful. Thanks, Bill |

Re: Weatherstripping problem
what brand of rubber is it? I have heard good and a few bad things about precision which is more prevelant from vendors I believe. I have also heard good things about softseal brand.
