How hard would it be to install one of these B&M shift improver kits in my 70 2wd with a th350? What all is involved? Will it harm the trans if its not installed right? http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id...t=12&subcat=21

Re: Shift Improver Kit

it's a breeze. you'll want to install the street/strip one, instead of the heavy duty.

Re: Shift Improver Kit

From what I hear they are pretty easy to install. My truck came with a Trans-Go stage II and I love it. It shifts slightly harder than stock when driving around town (it holds a gear a fair bit longer than stock), but when you get out and really start giving it, it shifts hard as hell. It was one of the reasons I bought the truck.
