Doors - What's different about '72's?
Looking for a replacement DS door for my '68. I believe any '67-'72 will fit, but understand there something different about the '72's!?!?!?
What are the differences & what will fit? Thanks, Mike

There is a screw that goes through the door right under the wing window post on 72 doors. 67-71 doors don't have it. It's simply a dimpled hole for a countersunk screw.
Also, 72 doors use different door latch controls and window regulators. They have longer shafts to compensate for the 72's contoured door panels.

Yes i believe the door panels are also a bit longer than 67-71

They should fit OK, just differences mentioned above.

The dimple and screw isn't right under the pillar, but that's pretty close. It's actually a little in front of it. Here's a pic, although it's not a very good one (sorry)...
