Need pic of back of fuel gauge/resistor
Still can't get my fuel gauge to work and before I change the resistor I thought I see if anybody had a good pic of the back of the fuel gauge. I took mine apart to put the white overlays down and wanted to make sure that I put it back together properly. If I'm lucky that will be my problem.

Re: Need pic of back of fuel gauge/resistor
the resistor goes on the two upper posts on the fuel gauge, and if is a porcelian resistor the colored side up or facing out away from the gauge. if it is not a porcelian resistor then it doesn't matter which side is up. Is this what you wanted to know.

Here's a picture of mine, that I just happen to have out of the truck. Is this what you were talking about?

Re: Need pic of back of fuel gauge/resistor
That would be it. So it doesn't matter how it goes on?
That looks like how mine is on.

Re: Need pic of back of fuel gauge/resistor
no, if you have that type of resistor, but the other porcelian type has to go a certain way, color up. Randy
