Stepside LED taillight comparison
I picked these stepside LED's up from Frank (PICKMUP) several months ago and finally got around to getting them installed. You do need to tap out a spot in the tailight bucket for clearance. The top pic is the stock taillights and below that is the stock brake lights.

Re: Stepside LED taillight comparison
To be honest the pictures really don't even do the tailights justice. From about 10 feet away the brightness to the stock tailight is about the same (LED still a little brighter) but the farther away from the truck you got the brigher the LED's appeared. My uncle came out to see what I was doing and I hit the brake lights. He said "damn son, are you trying to blind me?" The braked lights are VERY bright. I didn't have time to modify my buckets so I did pull the taillights back out. VERY SWEET and WORTH the money!

Re: Stepside LED taillight comparison
Did you run new wiring to the led lights? Looks great.
I like the idea for my truck.

Re: Stepside LED taillight comparison
Nope. They plugged directly into the old taillight bulb housing.
