67-72 Trucks on film

Anyone know what movies, tv shows, or music videos our trucks make a cameo in? I know that The movie Dazed and confused is supposed to have one. I just saw Sheryl Crow's Soak up the sun video, and there is a blazer about 10 seconds in, and also the Longest yard w/ Burt Reynolds. Anything else?

There is one in XXX. It is just a cab. Anybody else see it? Look for it when they are in Columbia.
I seem to see them everywhere. Look for the origional Gone In Sixty Seconds. They're everywhere, and they're new. Plus its a cool show.

Yeah, Dazed and Confused is probably the one movie I've seen that has a LOT of screen time for a 67-72 truck. Great movie.

The movie Bandits has a Blue Burb that gets quite a bit of screen time.

Also, Stephen King's "The Stand". If I remeber correctly, it's a 67 LWB. I have the movie so maybe I better watch it again to be sure what year it is.

Stephen King's movie, thinner. There is a blue 69-70 suburban at the begining that the gypsies are driving.

Okay, I'm going to catch grief over knowing this, but there's a '69 or '70 LWB in Air Bud (the basketball one). When you have a five year old, these movies come with the territory.

It's definately not a BB, but it has dual exaust. It smokes very badly, and the funny thing is, if you watch closely, it smokes out of the driver's pipe in some scenes, and the passenger side in others. Anyway, they trash it near the end, and drive it into a lake.

I always wonder how many they tore up filming it.

I watched Hoffa last night with Jack Nicholson and Danny DeVito.
Jimmy Hoffa (president of Teamsters Union - Detroit Michigan) was sentenced to 13 yrs. for jury tampering, pension fund fraud and conspiracy along with his crony Bob ? in 1967. They were both carted off to jail in a 67 Chevy panel with wire screen covering the windows.
